Anime (アニメ, [anime] ( listen); / ˈ æ n ɨ m eɪ / or / ˈ ɑː n ɨ m eɪ /) is the Japanese abbreviated pronunciation of "animation". The definition sometimes changes depending on the context. In English-speaking countries, the term most commonly refers to Japanese animated cartoons. Anime, like manga, has a large audience in Japan and recognition throughout the world. Distributors can release anime via television broadcasts, directly to video, or theatrically, as well as online. Both hand-drawn and computer-animated anime exist. It is used in television series, films, video, video games, commercials, and internet-based releases, and represents most, if not all, genres of fiction. Because there are tons of idiots in America who like EVERY single anime they see no matter what it is just because they wanna be an "anime fan" and be all like "I anime." And its annoying. If you like some anime shows because you actually think they are interesting then fine. But people are way too obsessed with anime and its annoying. If you are actually from japan then its okay because they put on pretty much all anime there. And what else I hate about those kind of people are how they don't actually like real japanese things just their cartoons. They don't care about ancient sengoku stuff, or their culture or anything.
